Chapter 13 ( Poor Little Tavia)

Last time...........




(Beyonce POV)


Me and Shawn just finished having the best sex ever ohmygod. I didn't mind Shawn's telling me to be quiet because I was tired myself. So I laid in Shawn's arms and as soon as I closed my eyes I heard Solo and Jessica knocking and yelling through the door. I grabbed my robe and Shawn put on his and we answered the door.


(Beyonce) Solo what's wrong why are you crying where is Tavia and Kelly
(Solange) I'm sorry Bey
(Jessica) It was a mistake
(Beyonce) *cryings* Where is Tavia and Kelly
(Solange) Iii--
(Beyonce) SOLANGE!!!
(Solange) Jessica pushed Tavia into the water and she starting drowning they rushed her to the hospital. 


When Solange told me that my whole body went numb and I just feel to the ground. I couldn't breath, see or hear. The only think I could make out was something about Tavia being underwater for about 5 minutes. My heart dropped and Shawn picked me up and we rushed to the hospital.




NOW.......


*At The Hospital*


(Beyonce POV) 


Its really quiet in here all I could here was the beeping sounds of the machines that was hooked up to my baby. Shawn was sitting next to me holding my hand and Solo and Kelly was sitting in the corner. Jessica was outside in the waiting room with my mom and dad and as of right now i can't stand to look at her. I know she is just a kid but my kid is fighting for her life because of her. Anyway now that I know Tavia is in stable condition I was finally able to regroup myself and build up the courage to ask what happen.  




(Beyonce) Ok can somebody please tell me what happen.
(Kelly) Beyonce I'm so sorry it was my fault I should of been watching them instead of being in the hot tub.
(Beyonce) Kelly what happen
(Kelly) I went over to the hot tub and -
(Solange) And Kelly told me to watch the girls and I was... I just dozed off for a second and when I came back to I realized Tavia and Jessica was not where I left them and by the time I spotted them I saw Jessica push Tavia in the pool. 
(Beyonce) SOLANGE HOW COULD YOU FALL ASLEEP YOU PROMISED ME YOU WOULD WATCH HER!! *crying*
(Shawn) Beyonce! Calm down
(Beyonce) Shawn please this is your daughters fault
(Solange)Beyonce I said I was sorry
(Beyonce) Solange sorry is NOT gonna fix this I trusted you with her


I guess Solange was hurt after I said that because she left out the room. I don't think I was being that harsh but I trusted her to watch my daughter and she fell asleep and now my daughter is in a hospital bed. To be honest after all Solange told me I could of slap the shit out of her so its a good thing she did leave. On her way out she let Jessica in "GREAT" I really didn't want to see her.
(Shawn) Jessica do have anything t o say to Beyonce
(Jessica) *bursting into tears*  Beyonce I'm really sorry ok i didn't mean to -
(Beyonce) Just tell me what happen?!
(Jessica) * Looks at shawn* Daddy?
(Shawn) Beyonce you are scaring her. Please calm down
(Beyonce) *looses her cool* LOOK if Jessica was in Tavia position you would be furious too. I don't even know if she is gonna make it out of here alive....... *crying*
(Shawn) Beyon-
(Beyonce) *crying* Just STOP I don't care just leave. Everybody!
(Jessica) *Runs and hugs beyonce* OK I'm sorry I was mad because we had to leave the arcade early because she started crying about a bear. Then when we went to the pool she was acting like a big baby about the slides so I kind of forced her to go on them with me. We got on a few slides and then she started to whine about how she was tired and wanted to take a break I said no because I was in charge. Then she said I'm going back to sit by my TT so I grab her and said you can't I have to watch you and she hit me really hard in my stomach and I pushed her in the pool I'm really sorry I didn't know she was gonna drown.


(Beyonce POV)


At this point I was angry and I didn't want Jessica around me anymore and I guss Kelly noticed it so she grab Jessica off of me and left out the room. I couldn't believe what Jessica had told me it made me really upset. I just laid my head on Tavia's bed and cried. "LORD Please be with Tavia" I said in between my sobs. The entire room was quiet all you could hear was me crying and the beeping from the machines. Until the doctor walked in.




(Doctor) Hi Mrs. Knowles 
(Beyonce) Hi, and its Ms.
(Doctor) Excuse me. Ms. Knowles. Tavia almost lost her little life but we got all the water out of her lungs and it looks like when she wakes up she will be fine.
(Beyonce) Thank God!
(Doctor) But by her being under water so long and because she is so small the water punctured her lungs a little so for now I want to keep her on a breathing machine for a few months. On the bright side the lung damage is not server so in a few months she should be fine.
(Beyonce) When can I take her home
(Doctor) We are going to run a few test on her when she wakes up to see how her breathing is but depending on what time she wakes up and how long the tests take she should be ready to go home tomorrow night
(Beyonce) OK thanks.
(Doctor) No Problem its our job and the way I love your new song Crazy In Love its my ringtone
(Beyonce) Thanks


I don't know if he expected me to laugh but I wasn't in the mood. But on the plus side knowing that Tavia was going to be okay made me feel a little but now I have to deal with Shawn. Jessica will not get away with what she did she need to be disciplined.

(Beyonce) Shawn we need to talk
(Shawn) Look Bey I know Jessica is sorry
(Beyonce) Not about that
(Shawn) Then what?
(Beyonce) You need to discipline her.
(Shawn) What you mean.
(Beyonce) Like spank her or take her cell phone or Ipod away
(Shawn) No Beyonce that's a lil harsh this is not all Jessica's fault. Tavia did hit her first and both of them shouldn't of been over there anyway. 
(Beyonce) Shawn Jessica is 11 years old and Tavia is 5 I'm sure that little hit did not hurt Jessica. Shawn Jessica walks all over you, the way she talks to you is unacceptable. She needs to be punished what if she would of killed Tavia
(Shawn) But she didn't, Jessica has been through a lot so excuse her for being a little angry and Tavia is not an angel so what is her excuse. All Tavia's life she had everything handed to her on a silver platter. You where not on drugs, and Tavia was never almost traded for crack. Jessica has been through hell and back.
(Beyonce) I understand that Shawn but Tavia has had her share of bad things to. She had to watch me get the living shit beat out of me and that couldn't of been easy on her. But I bet you Tavia would never physically hurt Jessica on purpose 
(Shawn) She said it was a mistake
(Beyonce) How do you accidentally push someone in 6 feet water
(Shawn) OK Beyonce what do you suggest i do?
(Beyonce) Spank her beat her little ass 
(Shawn) Well I'm sorry Beyonce I just don't believe in spanking my child.
(Beyonce) Well then I don't wont Tavia and Jessica hanging around each other anymore. Jessica is to much of a bad influence  
(Shawn) Ok you are over reacting. Jessica said she was sorry. Plus they are practically sisters
(Beyonce) I'm sorry I don't want Jessica and Tavia around each other anymore
(Shawn) Well me and Jessica is a whole package so if Jessica is not allowed around your family then I'm not either
(Beyonce).......
(Shawn) Is this what you want?


I just remained silent and I guess he took the hint and left. I didn't want him to leave but he really need to get his daughter in check. Before he got completely out the door I called after him and I noticed Solange was on her way in. 


(Solange) Bey can I talk to you?
(Beyonce) Not right now Solange, I just wana be alone. We can talk when Tavia get out of here.
(Solange) Its important Bey please I really need to talk to you now.


Lord knows I really didn't want to talk to Solange right now but I could see in her eyes that something was wrong. 


(Beyonce) Shawn just don't leave. Please just wait in the waiting room
(Shawn) Its okay we can finish talking later. Imma take Jessica over to my mother's house and I'll be back
(Beyonce) Ok


Shawn left and Solange came in and sat down and started crying and it scared me. It scared me so much I forgot I was even mad at her. I took my baby sister into my arms and held her until she was able to talk


(Beyonce) Solange what's wrong
(Solange) I'm Pregnant 
(Beyonce) What!!!!!!!!!!
(Solange) Bey what am I gona do with a baby I'm only 19
(Kelly) What's going on in here
(Beyonce) She's pregnant
(Kelly) Do mama Tina know
(Beyonce) Solange is still living so my guess is NO
(Solange) I haven't told anyone yet
(Beyonce) Who is the father
(Solange) Daniel
(Beyonce) Do he know
(Solange) No
(Beyonce) Solange you have to tell him 
(Solange) I'm scared
(Kelly) You're gonna have to tell your parents too and they are gona pissed
(Beyonce) Yea you know Daddy Don't like Daniel 
(Solange) I know. Beyonce I don't know what imma do. I can't have a baby at 19
(Beyonce) Well Solo you should of thought of that before you laid down and got pregnant. This baby is gonna be your responsibility now. 
(Solange) I'm 19
(Beyonce) O well I was 20 when I had Tavia. You have to grow up now
(Solange) It was different with you, you were already married. Marriage hasn't even crossed our minds yet
(Beyonce) You need to talk to him because abortion is not an option
(Solange) I know


We all talked until we fell asleep and during the middle of the night Shawn came back in and apologized and said he handled Jessica. He told me he took away her phone and Ipod and that made me feel a little better. The next day I was woken up by the doctor he said he wanted to take Tavia out for some test since she was finally awake. I gave him my permission and Shawn left to go pick up Jessica. I went into the bathroom and cleaned myself up as best as I could with the small bar of soap and tiny toothbrush they gave me. By the time I was finished the doctors was back with Tavia and her results. He said that the water did more damage to her lungs then he thought and that she may have develop Asthma and as soon as he said that I was once again in tears. The doctor told me not to get upset because he wasn't sure and wasn't gonna be sure until the rest of Tavia's tests came back. I calmed myself down and he told me to take Tavia home and get some rest, he said he would call me when the other test come back. 




(Tavia) Mommy
(Beyonce) *kisses her* Hey baby, how are you feeling?
(Tavia) I'm fine but can we go home now I'm tired of sitting in here.
(Kelly) Well you sure bounce back fast. You look fine to me
(Tavia) *Starts coughing* Mommy it hurts when I cough 
(Beyonce) I know baby its gona hurt for a few days
(Tavia) What's ASSA
(Beyonce) You mean Asthma 
(Tavia) Yes
(Beyonce) It makes it a little difficult to breath
(Tavia) Its jessica fault.
(Beyonce) But you hit her first, why did you do that?
(Tavia) Cause she kept grabbing and telling me to get on the black slide and I didn't want to
(Beyonce) Tavia I told you to never put your hands on anyone unless they hit you first. You should of told Kelly or Solange
(Tavia) I'm sorry. But Jessi didn't have to push me
(Beyonce) *giggles* You are too much well she said she was sorry and she loves you.
(Tavia) So 
(Beyonce) Tavia that's not nice
(Tavia).........


That little girl is really something else but at least she respects me. I started packing up everything so we can go home and I was almost done when Shawn walked in with Jessica who was listening to her Ipod and had her phone in her hand. I kind of got pissed all over again and  could tell Shawn noticed it because he kissed me. Then he said I did what you ask and I took away her phone and Ipod for the night. I really didn't have the energy to argue so I said what ever. Then he drove me home and he went his way and I went mine.

(Shawn 's POV) 


Its been a few weeks since the incident and me and Beyonce are still not on good terms. I guess she don't like the way I discipline Jessica. To be honest I don't care Jessica is my daughter and I will raise her like I want to. Even though our relationship isn't at its best place right now Bey still invited me and Jessica over for Tavia's birthday party. At first i was hesitant about letting Jessica go because I knew the way Bey felt about her but I wanted to see Beyonce. We really needed to talk because even though we didn't break up we was still very distant from each other. 




(Beyonce POV) 


These kids has literally had me on my feet all day it is at lease15 of them and all the parents decided to leave. It's Tavia 6th birth party and all the kids here are 3 to age 11 so yes I have my hands fulls.  Anyway  I'm watching some of them swim while Kelly was playing games with the kids who was to small to swim. Solo on the other hand was being greedy and eating everything in sight. She finally had built up the courage to tell Daniel and our parents about the baby. Of course my parents flipped out but Daniel proposed to her. Even though I think my sister is to young for marriage I was happy for her. Now on a not so pleasant note I let idris come to the party because it was his daughter 6th birthday. He was on the grill and barely said a word to me which was fine with me. Tavia was dancing to the music and enjoying herself finally. Every since the incident she will not come within 10 feet of a pool which again was ok with me. She really looked like she was having fun and I was having fun to. To be honest this is the most fun we've had since I found out Tavia did have Asthma and it broke my heart. We both are learning how to deal with it but its hard at times because every time she cough I get scared. Anyway we were enjoying ourselves until i heard the door bell ring. I told kelly to keep a close eye on the kids while I go get the door. I open the door too see Jessica and Shawn standing with two big gift bags.


(Jessica) HEEYYY Beyonce 
(Beyonce) Hey sweetie *Hugs her* 
(Shawn) Hey B
(Beyonce) HI :) * hugs him*
(Shawn) Where do I put these 
(Beyonce) In the livingroom
(Tavia) Hi Shawn. Hi Jessi
(Jessica) Heyy Tavia Happy birthday 
(Shawn) Hi Tavia happy birthday
(Tavia) Thanks... Mommy I'm hungry
(Beyonce)Ok go wait for me outside I'll be right there
(Tavia) Ok
(Shawn) Jessica you go with her 
(Jessica) Ok


(Beyonce) We need to talk
(Shawn) I know. Beyonce I love you and I don't want you to be mad at me any more. I'm sorry if I don't discipline Jessica like you want me to but she is my daughter.
(Beyonce) I know but if she is gonna be here with me I'm gonna discipline her if she do wrong.
(Shawn) Beyonce you will not put your hands on her I don't spank my kids
(Beyonce) I understand that and I won't put my hands on her but she will be punished if she do wrong just like Tavia will be
(Shawn) I--


*SMASH*


(Beyonce) What was that
(Tavia) *screams* MOMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Jessica) I didn't mean too!!!!!!!!!!!!
