Chapter 17 (An Old Fling)

Last Time...


What the hell?!! For once I actually believed him. Tears were forming in his eyes and he seemed very sincere.


(Beyonce) Idris I-
(Idris) Please let me back into you and Tavia's life. I promise not to mess up this time and I promise to treat you like a queen. I promise to treat you like my equal and let you live your life how you want it to live it. This time around I want to be your accessory I will do anything you ask me to do. Beyonce this time I'm Team Beyonce. Please forgive me I really want to be in your life again.  

NOW

(Idris) So Bey will you give me another chance please I promise not to mess up this time. I love you. I'm still in love with you. We are Team Idronce
(Beyonce) I'm sorry but I can't. I'm still in love with Shawn and I'm finally happy. You see this ring on my finger it's a promise ring. I made a promise to Shawn. I'm sorry.
(Idris) So you're not gonna think about it?


(Beyonce POV)


I shook my head no and I asked Idris to leave. I just don't have the time for his mess. I still love him but I also love Shawn. I'm in love with Shawn and after yesterday I'm sure he love's me too. After the Idris episode I met Shawn at his house, I had to tell him what had happen. I promised him no secrets.
(Beyonce) Shawn before we go I have something to tell you
(Shawn) Whats wrong
(Beyonce) Idris came by my apartment today and he apologized and ask me for my forgiveness
(Shawn) There is nothing wrong with forgiving him
(Beyonce) He also asked me to give him a second chance.
(Shawn) Don't tell me you're thinking about taking him back
(Beyonce) No of course not Shawn I love you. I was just letting you know, no secrets right
(Shawn) Right
(Beyonce) Ok. I love You
(Shawn) I love you too *kissing Bey*
(Tavi) Ewwwww thats nasty
(Jessi) Its romantic
(Beyonce) *laughs* so are we ready to go
(Jessi & Tavi) YES!


(Beyonce POV)
I'm happy I told Shawn about Idris because he's right there should be no secrets. Anyway we went out to eat first then to see Rino. By the time we finished  it was 10 minutes to 8 and time for my interview with Pierce Morgan. My interview started at 8:15 but because it was live I had to be there at 8 for mic checks makeup and other things. As y'all could see I was running late, really late. By the time I got there it was 5 minutes before it was time for me to go.


(Ty) Bey sit down. You're late. How am I gonna do your makeup and get you dressed in 5 minutes. 


*PAUSE* In case ya'll don't know who Ty is he is my cousin and makeup artist. 

(Beyonce) I'm sorry I got caught up with my family.
(Ty) *doing Bey's makeup* where are they
(Beyonce) In the audience
(Ty) Ok but I'm done I did something simple because you're already late now get dress
(Producer) 2 minutes to show time
(Beyonce) Thanks


I got dressed and made it out just as they were telling me to take the stage.


(Pierce) Nice of you to join us
(Beyonce) I'm happy to be here
(Pierce) So can we get to know you on a personal level
(Beyonce) Wow you went for it no warning no nothing
(Pierce) I'm doing it for the fans
(Beyonce) Hmmm I think you're doing it for you
(Pierce) Myself and the fans
(Beyonce) How personal are we talking
(Pierce) Like are you and Jay a couple or all yall just intimate or strictly friendship and business 
(Beyonce) Well I guess its safe now to say we are a couple 
(Pierce) Are there marriage plans in the future
(Beyonce) Not in the near future but yes
(Pierce) What about babies
(Beyonce) *laughs* Wow. Well we really haven't even thought about it I guess. I mean like we both have a child of our own Tavi and Jessi and right now that is all we need *laughs* Those girls are a handful alone. But I wouldn't mind having another baby but no time soon. All that will come after marriage.  I mean I'm only 25
(Pierce) Ok thats out the way lets talk about this album Dangerously In Love


I talked to Pierce for about 13 minutes before the commercial break. During the break Shawn and the girls came back with the girls.




Meanwhile.......


(Bartender) Sir I think you've had enough to drink 


(Idris POV)


I flicked off the bartender and grabbed my car keys. "Sir I don't think you should be driving" I've been drinking since Bey turned me down. Putting my hands on her was the biggest mistake of my life. After I left the bar I sped off in my car. I know I shouldn't drink and drive but I'll be fine I'm not that drunk anyway, I'm just a little buzzed. I lost count of how many drinks I had but I'm sure it was no more than 5 or 6.


(Shawn POV)


Watching Bey on stage I couldn't but notice how beautiful was. She was slaying the interview she is speaking well, cracking corny jokes, and she even sharing some dried up looking biscuits with Pierce. 


*Slaying means killing it doing a really good job*


(Beyonce) I really like these they are very good
(Pierce) I'm glad you like them 


(Beyonce POV)


These some nasty ass biscuits he making me eat and this interview is boring. I swear I can't wait until its over. I should of did Tyra or something cause I'm dying of boredom right now. Anyway after about another 15 minutes the interview was over. It was around 10pm. I checked my phone and saw I had a 7 missed calls from an unknown number I automatically assumed that it was from a fan because everyone I knew was saved in my phone, so I ignored it.  We drove to Shawn's house and put the girls to bed then Shawn and I went into his bedroom. I changed into his shirt and sat in between his legs so he could give me a massage.


(Shawn) You did really good today
(Beyonce) Thank but it was boring. Never again, I almost feel asleep
(Shawn) It was not that bad
(Beyonce) It was that bad and don't get me started on that dried up ass cookie
(Shawn) *laughs* It was a biscuit 
(Beyonce) What ever it was
(Shawn) Anyway can I ask you something
(Beyonce) Sure
(Shawn) What do you think about coming to live with me. I mean you're always over here and Tavia damn near made herself a bedroom
(Beyonce) *smiling* I think living with you w-


Our conversation was interrupted by my phone.


(Shawn) Who is
(Beyonce) I don't know. They've been calling all day
(Shawn) Answer it


*Phone Conversation*


(Beyonce) Hello
(Caller) Hello is this Beyonce Brooks
(Beyonce) Ummm its Knowles now but yes, who's calling
(Dianne) This is Dianne calling from Rosewood Memorial Hospital and I'm calling on the behalf of an Idris Brooks. 
(Beyonce) Is he ok?
(Dianne) Well he was in a serious car accident
(Beyonce) Oh my god
(Dianne) He was driving under the influence and he ran into a park car. The car he hit is totaled and so was his car.
(Beyonce) But is he ok
(Dianne) As of right now we don't know. He has to have a emergency surgery but we can't do anything yet
(Beyonce) And why not 
(Dianne) We need somebody to come down and sign released papers. 
(Beyonce) Did you try calling his family
(Dianne) Yes and his mother is out of town and can't get back tonight. So we need you to come sign
(Beyonce) But we are not married any more we divorced almost a year ago. Can I still do it
(Dianne) Yes but we need you down here a soon as possible
(Beyonce) Ok I'm on my way now
(Dianne) Ok thank you for your time
(Beyonce) Ok


(Shawn) Whats going on
(Beyonce) Idris was in a car accident  I gotta go the hospital
(Shawn) Do you want me to come with you
(Beyonce) But who's gonna watch Jessi and Tavi


I slip on some black pants and a black sweater and put on my white trench coat and started heading for the door but Shawn stopped me


(Shawn) Are you gonna answer me
(Beyonce) I'll let you know when I come back
(Shawn) Ok


*At The hospital*


I sign the released papers and they performed the surgery. After the surgery Idris was put in ICU. They said he had a few broke ribs and a broken leg. They also said considering the way the car looked he was lucky to be alive and come out with the injuries he came out with. They called him lucky. Anyway I sat down near Idris and started thinking back on my life and before I knew it my thoughts became words to Idris.


(Beyonce) Idris I can't believe I'm sitting here with you right now especially after what you did to me. You took my confidence away from me. You embarrassed me in front of Tavia and you hurt me. Idris how did we end up like this. We was so happy in high school and college, all of our friends called us Bonnie & Clyde. *Laughs* Do you remember the time in high school during finals when I didn't get a chance to study and I was afraid I would fail and I did. But you snuck into the classroom and switched our names so I passed and you failed. *Laughs* You went to summer school for me. Or what about the time I found out I was pregnant, even though I didn't tell you until after I got back together with you. You never denied Tavia. Those were the good old days now look at us divorced. 




I had tears in my eyes thinking about the good old days with Idris but it didn't take away me feeling about Shawn. I'm happy now.

*Idris House*


It's been a month since the accident and my career has shot off. I also decided that it wasn't the best time to move in with Shawn. At lease not yet because I've been spending a lot of time with Idris. Now calm down its nothing serious its just he need 24hr care. So I've been alternating with his nurses. Even though his nurses are with him all day and I really don't need to be here, I want to be to make sure they're talking care of him right. Shawn was a little disappointed when I turned him down but he knew I had to do this for me. Shawn really hated this whole thing because he thought Idris was faking some of his pain sometimes because Idris would call me at 3am asking for help. I knew he wasn't faking but try explaining that to Shawn. Anyway I was sitting down next to Idris helping him eat.


(Beyonce) So you know you won't need this cast anymore after today right
(Idris) Yea 
(Beyonce) Once this cast come off I wont be over as much. I've been neglecting Shawn and its not fair for me to put my life on hold because of you. 
(Idris) Listen to me Bey this past month with you has been nothing but great and I thank you for everything
(Beyonce) You're Welcome
(Idris) But like I said Bey I love you and I'm not ready to let you go. 
(Beyonce) Idris I told you I'm happy in my relationship with Shawn. When the cast come off I'm done playing doctor with you
(Idris) I heard what you said in the hospital 
(Beyonce) I was reminiscing the good times there is nothing wrong with that 
(Idris) Kiss me 
(Beyonce) No. And I think its time for me to go


Before I could gather my things and Idris pulled me down and kissed me.


(Shawn POV)


I just watched this entire thing go down and I'm not mad at Bey at all especially since she just smacked the shit out of Idris.


(Shawn) Did you enjoy the kiss
(Beyonce) Baby  this is not what it look like I promise I had nothing to do with this 
(Shawn) Beyonce chill I just saw the whole thing
(Beyonce) I'm sorry I didn't listen to you can we just leave 
(Shawn) Yea because the longer I stay here the more pissed I get
(Beyonce) OK


After we left we went back to Shawn's mom house and Jessica and Tavia was shopping with Kelly, Ty, and Solo. They where looking for baby clothes for my nephew. Solange was 7 months pregnant now. Anyway Solange said that they would bring the girls to Shawn's moms house after they finished shopping. Gloria was having a small party kind of like a Superbowl party except instead of football we was watching basketball.  Anyway after we said hello to everyone we went into the living room to enjoy the game


(Beyonce) I think we should move in together
(Shawn) What?! Where is this coming from
(Beyonce) The way you handled the whole Idris thing and the way you treat me I just think its time.
(Shawn) I would like that Miss. Beyonce
(Beyonce) Good. *kisses Shawn*


(Shawn POV)


That kiss with Bey just turned me on completely I wanted her right their except we was at my moms house. 


(Beyonce POV)


I knew Shawn wanted me so I decided that I was gonna tease him a little bit just because. After the kiss I sat on Shawn's lap and everyone looked at me for a split second and then turned are to finish watching the game. "I don't wan't any funny business on my couch you two" Gloria said. 


(Beyonce) Of course not
(Shawn) Mom I would never disrespect your house like that
(Gloria) Ok


After that was settled I laid back on Shawn and licked his neck. 


(Shawn) *whispering* Bey what are you doing STOP!
(Beyonce) Shhhh I'm trying to watch the game
(Gloria) What's going on
(Beyonce) Shawn talking while I'm trying to watch the game
(Gloria) Shawn. What did I just tell you
(Shawn) Sorry


When Gloria turned back around I reached my hands and Shawn's shorts and he jumped up causing me to fall off his lap on to the couch. 


(Gloria) What is wrong with you boy
(Shawn) I gotta pee
(Gloria) Well go to the bathroom


I laughed at Shawn because he was such a gentleman. Shawn went to the restroom and I followed him


(Gloria) Beyonce sit!
(Beyonce) Ok


Well I at lease I tried to follow him. About 5 minutes later I noticed Shawn wasn't back yet so I couldn't help but wonder what was taking him.


(Beyonce) Umm Mama G Imma go see whats taking him.
(Gloria) if you're not back in 5 minutes I'm  coming up to find you
(Beyonce) Ok


I was heading into the bathroom when all of a sudden Shawn pulled me into the the guest bedroom and pinned me to they wall


(Shawn) You trying to be funny huh?
(Beyonce) *Laughs* No, I just wanted to see how much you could take which by the way isn't much
(Shawn) Hush! you already know I can't resist you
(Beyonce) Kiss me
(Shawn) No not in my moms house are you crazy


"No just a little horny" I said. Then I kissed Shawn. I knew I could get him hot and that's all I wanted to do. He pressed up against me and he was rock hard so I broke the kissed. "Come on lets go back down stairs before your mom walk in" I opened the door and Shawn closed it back. "Nope you done got something started now." Shawn no I'm not gonna disrespect your mom." Fine but when we get back home tonight Imma tear your ass up for getting me all HOT and shit. 

(Beyonce) Deal.
