Chapter 16 (First Date Promises)

Last Time......

Wow was all I could say because my whole body was weak like I can honestly say this was the best sex of my life. We let the cold shower run on us for a while well at lease until we gained our strength back, which wasn't long since by now the water went from cold to freezing. We washed up changed the sheets on the bed and went to sleep. I didn't care to much for the ass action in the shower but other then that the sex was perfect. O yea and I will never have sexual relations with another girl. Even though the sex was pleasurable its nothing like being with a man. 




Now....


(Beyonce POV)


The next morning I woke up with a smile on my face. After last night I couldn't help but to have a smile on my face. Anyway I looked at the clock and it was almost 1 in the afternoon. "Damn I must of been really tired" Anyway I rolled over to see if Shawn was still asleep and he wasn't even there. So I sat up with my necked body still covered in the sheets and then I saw Shawn walking in with a tray of food. "I made you breakfast in bed" He said.


(Beyonce) Thank you
(Shawn) No problem


This meal was right on time because I was starving. As I was eating my food I couldn't help but notice Shawn was all dressed up.


(Beyonce) You're leaving?


Shawn sat next to me on the bed and said yea.


(Shawn) I was thinking that we should go on a date 
(Beyonce) A date?
(Shawn) We never really went on date before
(Beyonce) Yes we have
(Shawn) Really when?
(Beyonce)....
(Shawn) Right. So eat and get dress. This will be our first date
(Beyonce) Where are we going
(Shawn) Its a surprise
(Beyonce) So How do I know what to wear 
(Shawn) Just do you
(Beyonce) Ok..


Shawn was dressed in a suit so where ever he is taking me had to special. So after I finished breakfast I showered again and then I checked myself out in the mirror. I had about four hickies and to be honest I don't know if Shawn gave them to me or Aaliyah but what I do know is that I wasn't going out in public like this. So I decided on a red skirt and top with a jacket since it was starting to get cool outside. After I finished getting dress I met Shawn downstairs. "So How do I look?"


(Shawn) Perfect except one thing
(Beyonce) What?
(Shawn) Its a rip in your jacket
(Beyonce) What this is brand new uggg. Umm before we got out can we stop by my moms house so she can fix it 
(Shawn) *Laughs* Sure


When we got to my moms house she got right to work on my jacket. Then she saw a loose thread in my shirt she wanted to fix but I told her it was find but she insisted on fixing it so I let her and then we left.

Soon after we left we pulled into this beautiful restaurant it was everything. After we ordered we talked for a little while.


(Shawn) So Beyonce
(Beyonce) Yessss
(Shawn) I love you
(Beyonce) I love you too
(Shawn) No I mean like I love you so much that I want to spend the rest of my life with you.
(Beyonce) Shawn I would love to spend the rest of my life with you but I'm not ready for that type of commitment right now.
(Shawn) I know and I'm willing wait


When Shawn said that I smiled and kissed him. He then told me to hurry and finish eating cause he had one more surprised for me. So I rushed through my food because I couldn't wait to see what he had in store for me. Once we arrived back at his house I was a little disappointed because I thought the surprise had something to do with sex.


(Beyonce) What's going on
(Shawn) Put this on and follow me


He gave me the scarf that I used to cover his eyes on the boat when I first fell in love with him. Actually it was my scarf and I forgot he had it.


(Beyonce) I forgot you had this
(Shawn) Put it on
(Beyonce) I don't want to
(Shawn) I did it for you
(Beyonce) OKaay
(Shawn) Do you trust me
(Beyonce) Of course
(Shawn) Well turn around so I can put it on you


I did what Shawn asked and right after he took me by my waist and guided me to the into the backyard. He told me told me sit down so I listened then he took the blind fold off and when he did I was sooooo surprised. The backyard was decorated with beautiful lights and my favorite kind of flowers. It was also a table with chocolate covered strawberries and cherries and red wine. Now how did he know I liked these? Anyway that wasn't even the best part. The best part was seeing Baby Face standing 5 feet away from me holding a microphone and then he started singing As Soon As I Get Home. Right than and there I was sold I was completely in love with Shawn. During the song Shawn took my hand and feed me the strawberries. I bit a small bite of the strawberry and feed the rest to Shawn this night was perfect. Shawn then ask me to dance and of course I said yea. I removed my jacket and Shawn wrapped his arms around my waist and wrapped mine around his neck. Now it was about 70 degrees outside so I really didn't need the jacket anyway. I rested my head on Shawn's shoulder and he pulled me in close. By this time Baby Face had just finished the song and started singing Two Occasions.. After he finished the song Shawn an I separated and then Baby face brought me a red rose. I was literally in tears yes, I know I'm a cry baby but what ever. Baby Face then went inside the house and I started thanking Shawn but he said don't thank him yet because he had a few more surprises.


(Beyonce) Shawn this is already enough 
(Shawn) Turn around


I turned around in the direction of the house and saw Jagged Edge coming out the house and they where each holding a red rose. They all handed me the rose and took their place and started singing I Gotta Be, my heart just melted. I starting kissing Shawn I couldn't believe he did all of this for me. He had giving me my own mini concert. Then after the song was over he said he had another person that wanted to sing to me. I was super excited. Jagged Edge went into the house and out came R Kelly. He handed me his rose and started singing Take My Time Tonight and I instantly became horny, but I kept my cool and continued dancing with Shawn. Before the song ended Shawn went and lifted the table cloth up off the table and grabbed a gift bag from under the table.  


(Shawn) Sit down I have a few more surprises for you
(Beyonce) Ok


Shawn handed me the first surprise out the bag and it was a square box. I opened it and my mouth dropped. It was my album, he said it was ready to be released. I jumped up and hugged him I was so happy and at this point I didn't care about the other gifts.

  

(Shawn) Ok ok ok calm down I have a few more gifts
(Beyonce) I'm sorry but I'm just so happy right now. I love you. *kisses Shawn*
(Shawn) I love you too. Are you ready to see the next gift
(Beyonce) Yes!


Shawn handed me another box but this time it was a smaller box. I opened it and my mouth dropped again this time it was a beautiful diamond necklace. WOW. Shawn put the necklace around my neck and I was again in tears. 

(Beyonce) I don't know what to say 
(Shawn) You can say I promise
(Beyonce) What?




When I said that Case came out singing Happily Ever After. *Pause* Now where the hell all these people coming from. Anyway he came out with a beautiful Cattleya orchid bouquet and handed it to me. All together I receive 5 roses and a bouquet. Then Shawn told me every flower that I received represented how many times he fell in love with me since we've officially been together. Then he told me to look around at all the flowers that decorated the backyard. He said each of all these flowers represented the amount of times we both smiled at each other. It was hundreds maybe even thousands of flowers "We have only been together for about 4 months now and we smiled this many times"

(Shawn) No this is how many times we smiled since we met.  We've been known each other for a year now. I don't know if you remember but on this day a year ago we met at my party. 
(Beyonce) It must of slipped my mind. I mean I remember meeting you for the first time at a party but I forgot the date.
(Shawn) Its ok. Are you ready for last surprise 
(Beyonce) Yea


Shawn removed the last box out of the bag and got done on one knee and my heart started pounding.  He opened the box and it was a beautiful diamond ring

(Beyonce) Shawn I-
(Shawn) This is not an engagement ring. Trust me if it was it would be waaaaay better then this one.


I sighed in relief because like I said before I was not ready to get married again.


(Shawn) It's a promise ring. I want you to promise me you will be faithful. I want you to promise me you'll always be truthful to me. I want you to promise me you'll always be my bestfriend. I want you to promise me if I  get out of control and loose my way a little you always be there to put me back in my place. I want you to promise me you'll always be there for me. I want you to promise to love me and I want you to promise me you'll tell me when anything is wrong with you. I don't want you hiding anything from me. I want you to be my women and I want to be your man. Beyonce listen if you promise these things to me I will promise to do the same in return. 


By this time I was literally crying, the tears was coming down uncontrollably.


(Beyonce) Of course I'll promise you that. I love you


Shawn put the ring on my ring finger and even though it wasn't a wedding ring I was gonna treat it like it was one. This was officially the best night of my life. Once Shawn place the ring on my finger he picked me up and kissed me, It seemed like this was the best kissed we ever shared. After the kiss Case was done singing and Shawn paid and showed everyone out and ya'll could guess what we did. This was the best first date I've ever been on.


The next morning we woke up and got dressed then we picked up the girls from Solange house. Now we wasn't planning on them spending two nights at Solange house so they didn't have enough clothes. So Shawn took Jessica home and I took Tavia back to my apartment. We had plan to meet back at his house once the girls was dressed. We was planing on seeing a movie and doing normal people stuff because tomorrow my album hits the stores, and once it do, going to stores and movies and shopping will be hard and almost impossible. Also at 9:00pm I have an interview with Pierce Morgan. Tavia was finally dressed and we were about to head out. I opened the door and guess who was about to start knocking.


(Idris) Can we talk
(Beyonce) I was just heading out
(Idris) Beyonce look I'm sorry about everything that went on in our relationship. I don't know what had gotten into me. But seeing you at Tavia's birthday party made me realize how much I lost. Beyonce I miss you and you don't have to come home with me but I really want to try to start over. I went to counselling and I graduated. I learned to put all my anger into other things like painting and writing. Beyonce I promise to never put another hand on you unless I'm holding you in my arms and pleasing you. Beyonce I'm not over you and I'm kind of hoping your not over me. I know you and Jay has been going out but Beyonce he would never love you like I love you and he can never make you happy like I could. Beyonce remember in college when we broke up because I cheated. Well Bey you forgave me and said everyone deserves a second chance and maybe even a third. Bey please I'm ready for my third chance.


What the hell?!! For once I actually believed him. Tears were forming in his eyes and he seemed very sincere.


(Beyonce) Idris I-
(Idris) Please let me back into you and Tavia's life. I promise not to mess up this time and I promise to treat you like a queen. I promise to treat you like my equal and let you live your life how you want it to live it. This time around I want to be your accessory I will do anything you ask me to do. Beyonce this time I'm Team Beyonce. Please forgive me I really want to be in your life again.
