Chapter 9 (Flipping The Script)

Last Time......


(Beyonce POV)


He laughed at me and then starting swimming closer to me. I grabbed his head and pushed him under the water and somehow he brought me down with him. We where having so much fun. I don't know if it was the whine or the water but I felt as if I was floating. It was the best feeling ever. I looked at Shawn and it seem as if he was having a good time too now that he has gotten use to the water. We stayed in the ocean for at lease a hour before the water start getting to cold. We climb up the side of the boat and he hugged me and said goodnight. I went to my room and he went to his. It was literally the best night ever. We where only missing one thing to make this night absolutely perfect but like I said before I must heal first. For the first night in a long time I went to sleep with a smile on my face.


(Jay POV)


Why do I always let her get to me. Normally I would of never in a million years jumped off a boat. I guess she has that affect on me because any other female I would of just let drown. I think I was actually falling in love with her. I took a cold shower and went to sleep. Yes seeing her all wet really turned me on. I had to keep reminding myself that we are just friends.


Now.......


*The next day Disney World 4pm*


(Beyonce POV) 


So far today everything has been great. The boat had stopped in Florida so we decided to take the girls to Disney land. This was our last stop before we went back to NY. Shawn owns a house here in Florida so that's where we are gona stay until we go back to NY. Tavia and Jessica are getting alone and me and Shawn are enjoying our time together. Well everything is ok except the paparazzi they have been snapping pics and asking Jessica questions about her mom all day. I can tell she is uncomfortable and so is Shawn, but when I said we should go Shawn said Jessica has to get use to the paparazzi because everywhere he go they go. Now me and Tavia is loving the attention, I mean this is our first encounter with paparazzi. Anyway Tavia and Jessica are boarding the ride and Shawn and I are gonna sit back and watch.


(Shawn) So are you enjoying yourself
(Beyonce) Yea I actually think I'm having more fun then Tavia and Jessica
(Shawn) *laughs* I don't think that's possible
(Beyonce) Yea I agree. Imma go right there to get me a snow cone I'll be back
(Shawn) I'll come with you
(Beyonce) What about the girls
(Shawn) The ride is just starting and its 10 feet away by the time we get back the ride will just be ending 
(Beyonce) Ok.



Shawn paid for my snow cone even though I asked him to let me do it but he insists. After I received my snow cone we started walking back towards the ride then Shawn stopped me and told me to tie my shoe. 


(Beyonce) Ugggg see this is why I where heels so I wont have to worry about shoe laces. Can you please hold this *handing Shawn the snow cone*
(Shawn) Can I have some
(Beyonce) *tying her shoe* NO! I don't know where your lips been
(Shawn) I'll take that as a yes
(Beyonce) If you bite my snow cone we are gonna fight *standing up*
(Shawn) Are you threatening me
(Beyonce) No! Its a promise 
(Shawn) Ok 
(Beyonce) I will seriously hurt you if you do it
(Shawn) Ok *biting the snow cone*
(Beyonce) Are you serious right now


I tried to hit Shawn but he grabbed me. I tried to break loose but he pulled me in close to him and our lips was literally a centimeter away from each others. If either of us moved we would kiss, this was one of those awkward moments but I broke it by asking for my snow cone back.


(Beyonce) Sorry I can't do this at lease not yet
(Shawn) I know that's why I didn't kiss you *handing Bey her snow cone*
(Beyonce) Thank you



Shawn and I walked back over to where the girls was and I swear we wasn't even gone for 5 minutes but when we return the ride was letting out. I saw Tavia running towards me but I didn't see Jessica.


(Beyonce) Tavia where is Jessica
(Tavia) I don't know she was right behind me
(Shawn) What?!
(Beyonce) Come on maybe she is mixed up with the crowd




We went over to the ride where all the kids was getting off the ride and we didn't see Jessica. I could see the worry and Shawn's eyes but he was trying to hide it. I picked up Tavia and told Shawn not to worry and we started our search for Jessica. We looked everywhere and we searched for about a hour and still no Jessica. By this time Shawn was in a panic and so was I. We got the park security to help us look but this park is huge. It would take us at lease 7 or 8 hours to cover the whole park.


(Tavia) Mommy I have to pee
(Beyonce) Can you hold it we have to find Jessica first
(Tavia) No mommy I have to go now
(Beyonce) Tavia-
(Shawn) Bey its ok go. I'll continue to look. Take her to the bathroom
(Beyonce) Ok and Shawn we will find her
(Shawn) I know.
(Beyonce) If something happens before I come back call me please,
(Shawn) OK


I carried Tavia to the restroom which was way on the other side of the park and when I went into the restroom I saw Jessica. 


(Beyonce) Jessica why did you walk off? Your father is worried sick about you
(Jessica) Because I'm tired of the paparazzi and all the questions. I just wanna go back home with my mom.
(Beyonce) Awww Jessica. Look I need to call your father to let him know I found you. 
(Jessica) Please No!! They are gonna follow him.
(Beyonce) I have to so could you please help Tavia to the restroom
(Jessica) Sure


I called Shawn and told him we had found Jessica and he sighed in relief. After Tavia finished in the restroom we met Shawn back at a bench in the front of the park.


(Shawn) Jessica why did you run off like that?! You scared me half to death!!!
(Jessica) Daddy I'm sorry
(Shawn) Jessica sorry is not gona-
(Beyonce) Shawn! Let her talk. Jessica tell your dad why you ran off
(Jessica) I ran off because I wana go home
(Shawn) Jessica all you had to do was ask to go home and we couldn't of left that is not a reason to run off.
(Jessica) No daddy I wana go home home. I wana move back home with my mommy. I don't like living with you *crying*
(Jay) Why Jessica
(Jessica) Because every time we go somewhere there are people following us. talking pictures asking for autographs and asking question about my mom and I don't like that. When I lived with mommy we never had that. Plus daddy I don't even know why I had to come move with you anyway I didn't ask for this.




(Shawn POV)


When Jessica told me that I was hurt and shocked. I never knew she felt this way but I can't send her back to live with her mom. I grabbed Jessica and I held her in my arms and I explained to her that she couldn't move back with her mom, of course she asked why but I wasn't ready to tell her. I changed the subject by telling her I promise to do something about the paparazzi, stans and the groupies even though I didn't  know what. We talked for about 15 minutes and then she said she was ok and apologized again for running off. 


(Beyonce) Are you sure you're ok Jessi
(Jessica) Yes
(Beyonce) Ok lets go see the fireworks they are about to start in a few minutes.
(Tavia) Yaeee!!!!!!!!!!


(Beyonce POV)


We walked over to part of the park where the fireworks was being held at. By the time we got there they where just starting. 10 minutes into the show I looked over at Tavia and Jessica and they both was enjoying the show then I looked at Shawn who was a little distant.


(Beyonce) Are you ok
(Shawn) Yea I'm ok
(Beyonce) Jessica was scared that's why she said those things Shawn she's only 10.
(Shawn) I know its not that
(Beyonce) Then what is it
(Shawn) I can't let her go move back with her mom it's................
(Beyonce) It's what?
(Shawn) Never mind lets just drop it
(Beyonce) Shawn you can talk to me
(Shawn) Beyonce drop it!!
(Beyonce) But-
(Shawn) Girls are we ready to go
(Jessica) The fireworks are not over yet
(Shawn) I know but its almost time for bed
(Jessica) Please can we stay
(Tavia) Please
(Shawn) OK.


(Beyonce POV)


We watched the rest of the show in complete silence and the whole ride back to Shawn's Florida home was quiet. When we entered the house I was in complete shock, the house was beautiful. It looked 10 times better then his home in NY.


(Beyonce) Shawn this is beautiful
(Shawn) Thanks
(Beyonce) You're Welcome. I th-
(Shawn) Bey could you please get the girls ready for bed while I get your room together. Jessica will show you where everything is
(Beyonce) Sure.


Every since I mentioned Jessica's mom to Shawn he's been avoiding me and I was kind of getting angry because I didn't do anything. Anyway I did what he asked and I ran Jessica some bathwater and she gave her self a bath while I used the other bathroom to bathe Tavia. After both girls was clean I put them in the bed and took a bath myself. I was finally relaxed when I heard someone knocking on the door.


(Beyonce) Yes!
(Shawn) Can I come in


Normally I would of told him no but my necked body was covered with bubbles so you couldn't see anything 


(Beyonce) Sure!!
(Shawn) Can we talk
(Beyonce) Sure


*Shawn sat on the tub*


(Shawn) Bey I'm sorry for they way I've been acting. It's just when people bring up Jessica's mother I hate myself for allowing Jessi to stay with her all these years
(Beyonce) What happen Shawn?
(Shawn) When Jessica was about 3 her mom and I broke up and of course Jessica stayed with mom. It was the best thing for her. But anyway a few months after I left Tasha met someone new and before I knew it he had her whoring around. 
(Beyonce) So why didn't you just take Jessica
(Shawn) Because I didn't know until Jessica was about 6 when she started telling me what was going on. So I took Tasha and I got help for her because even though we had broken up I was sill In love with her. So anyway Tasha started back acting like herself again until recently I started noticing something wasn't right about her. She was loosing weight and she wasn't looking well so I knew it was drugs. Now Jessica on the other hand didn't notice because she was still the perfect mother in her eyes but I knew something was wrong. I took Jessica away from her and put Tasha in a rehab but I just found out that she checked herself out.
(Beyonce) Shawn I'm sorry
(Shawn) I don't even know where she is right now. I tried calling all her old friends and they haven't seen her. I tried her parents and they haven't even seen her. So what am I suppose to say to say to Jessica when she ask about mom or ask to move back with her again. I know its coming, she will ask again because I can't turn the paparazzi or the groupies off and I can't keep her face out the papers. 


(Beyonce POV)


Shawn was in tears and so was I, even though I never met Jessica's mother I felt sorry for her Jessica and Shawn. I raised up a little and wiped Shawn's falling tear and I told him that we will find Tasha and get help for her. He nodded his head yes and sniffed a little then I kissed his forehead which exposed my body a little. Then I kissed his lips, I couldn't help myself. I know I said I needed to heal before Shawn and I took things any further but I knew my healing process was over because I was in love. I was ready to go the distance with him but this time he stopped me.


(Beyonce) What's wrong
(Shawn) Bey I don't want you feeling sorry for me. I don't want petty sex
(Beyonce) Shawn I really wanna do this. I love you
(Shawn) I love you too but I can't do this at lease not right now. You wasn't ready at first and now I'm not. I'm just really messed up in the head right now. I need time to think.
(Beyonce) Ok I understand you're still in love with her
(Shawn) I think I should probably leave while you finish your bath. Goodnight.
(Beyonce) Goodnight


(Beyonce POV)


Shawn kissed me on the cheek and left. I was shocked he turned me down especially after all the flirting he does. Maybe it was a good thing I turned him down, but now I want him.
